At her previous school, she became discouraged and felt like they were not giving her the academic help she needed. Since attending CAA, Tiffany has become more hopeful about her academic success. She loves the individualized schedule & access to content coaches & GCA’s if she needs help.
Once she earns her diploma, she plans on going to a 4-year university to major in Engineering or journalism. Here's to your future, Tiffany!
He finds completing one credit at a time to be very helpful compared to the course load at his previous school.
With his flexible school schedule, he is able to babysit his nephews and still find time for his hobbies: building race cars & playing football and basketball.
Cynethia was born and raised in Charleston and enrolled at Charleston Acceleration Academy because she needed more individualized instruction.
After graduating from CAA, Cynethia plans to attend college and use her passion for helping children to become a neonatal nurse.
Cynethia tells all of our GCs to “never give up and keep moving forward.”
Joseph was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He attended West Ashley High School prior to enrolling at Charleston Acceleration Academy (CAA). He decided to enroll because he wanted to catch up on credits as well as work at his own pace.
After graduation, Joe wants to attend Tuskegee University in Alabama to pursue a degree in Art. His goal is to become an entertainer. Joe lives and stands by the quote, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).”
Jordan C. was born and raised in Charleston, SC and attended Septima B. Clarke Academy prior to enrolling in CAA. He decided to leave his previous school and after speaking with his counselor, he visited the Trident Tech Campus and thought that CAA would be a good fit for him.
Since attending CAA, Jordan has become more hopeful about his academic success. He loves the individualized schedule, access to content coaches & GCA’s if he needs help. He feels more hopeful and excited about his future. After graduating from CAA, Jordan plans to enlist in the army in order to provide a better future for himself while serving his country.
Jayven G. is an 18 year old junior. He was born and raised in Charleston, SC and attended North Charleston High School (NCHS) prior to enrolling at CAA. He decided to leave NCHS because he felt as though the traditional school model was not conducive to him and his learning style. After speaking with his counselor, he decided to visit CAA to finalize his decision and decided that CAA was the best fit for him based off the flexibility and self-paced model provided by the academy.
After graduating from CAA, Jayven plans to enlist in the army in order to provide for himself and family, as well as serve his country. His goal is to leave Charleston and travel the world. In Jayven’s words, Charleston Acceleration Academy is his “last chance to graduate,” and he does not plan on “messing up this opportunity.”
